Accessibility Statement

Accessibility is part of our quality standards: verinice should be usable by as many people as possible as a specialist application – regardless of limitations or assistive technology used. To this end, we adhere to DIN EN 301 549, BITV 2.0, and WCAG 2.1, and are continuously improving the new generation of verinice. On this page, you will find our accessibility statement, including status, known limitations, and contact information for feedback.

Please describe the restriction as specifically as possible and provide the version, environment (cloud/on-premises), and browser/device so that we can understand the issue.

Testing according to BITV

In Germany, the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) – within the framework of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) – is the central reference for accessibility in public institutions. For specialized applications, the testing standard is specified in practice by EN 301 549 (including requirements from WCAG 2.1). 

For the application verinice.veo, we commissioned and documented an internal test based on these criteria.
