The new generation of verinice has been available for some time as verinice.cloud. Now the second usage option is available: verinice.onprem is now available in the Basic Protection Bundle covers the domains of IT-Grundschutz, NIS-2, and data protection. It takes into account BSI Standards 200-1, 200-2, and 200-3 and enables both ISO 27001 certification based on IT-Grundschutz and a BSI certificate.
- The ISO 27001 Bundle includes the domains ISO 27001, NIS-2, and data protection, and takes into account the standards DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001, 27002, and 27005—the right choice for organizations that want to establish and certify an ISMS according to ISO 27001.
- The ISO+GS Bundle combines both approaches: ISO 27001, IT-Grundschutz, NIS-2, and data protection in a single package – the most comprehensive option for maximum standards coverage and an integrated management system from a single source.
The BCM domain according to BSI 200-4 or ISO 22301 complements all bundles, including those already purchased, as soon as it becomes available.
All on-premises bundles start with 11 users and 3 production units as well as one test unit; additional users and units can be flexibly added at any time.
Those unfamiliar with the new generation of verinice can first test the functional domains for 30 days free of charge in verinice.cloud. The feature set of verinice.cloud and verinice.onprem is identical. Those who subsequently decide to run the solution on their own infrastructure can seamlessly switch to verinice.onprem.
Two operating models, one goal: maximum control
There are two options to choose from: The Talos-based virtual appliance is the easy way to get started—preconfigured, importable into common virtualization environments, and ready to run without Kubernetes expertise. The Kubernetes cluster is designed for organizations with existing Kubernetes infrastructure and offers maximum flexibility for integrating your own components. Both options also support operation in air-gapped environments.
Support from installation through ongoing operation
SerNet supports verinice.onprem throughout its entire lifecycle upon request. The Installation Support ensures a smooth start remotely or on-site, while update support keeps the installation up to date with up to four updates per year, and flexible support budgets are available for technical questions during ongoing operations. All services can be ordered directly in the shop—without lengthy contract negotiations. Technical consulting regarding ISMS operations is provided by certified verinice partners from the SerNet partner network.
Migration from verinice.PRO
Anyone still using verinice.PRO today or purchasing it now is on the safe side: The classic generation will continue to be supported until the end of 2027, and anyone who purchases verinice.PRO now has the option to switch to verinice.onprem during the term. SerNet supports the migration by deploying both systems in parallel, allowing the data transfer to be tested multiple times before production begins.
