verinice references from the federal states
verinice can be flexibly adapted to the individual requirements of state authorities and other institutions, strengthening digital sovereignty at the state level. The open-source tool helps the federal states to efficiently set up information security and data protection management systems (ISMS and DSMS) as well as emergency management. All further developments of verinice also benefit all public institutions equally.
Four federal states have already signed framework agreements for the use of verinice: In addition to Lower Saxony, Brandenburg and Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania even plans to use it across the board for the state and local authorities. In addition, many decentralized state institutions in other federal states are increasingly recognizing the value of free software.
