VDA ISA / TISAX in verinice.
The connectivity of business processes between companies is creating increasing risks in information processing. The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has therefore developed the VDA Information Security Assessment (VDA ISA) and launched the TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) audit and exchange standard for cross-company recognition of the assessments. verinice helps you to meet the VDA ISA requirements and obtain the TISAX label.
The VDA view for verinice simplifies the processing of ISA questions based on ISO 27002 and makes it easier to submit the results. This enables you to successfully complete an Information Security Assessment (ISA) according to the requirements of the VDA with verinice and you can directly prepare for the TISAX audit. You can also use the questionnaire across all industries for a simple self-assessment of your information security status.
In Q2 2025, the new, web-based verinice will have a separate domain “verinice VDA ISA / TISAX” available, where you can easily work towards a TISAX certification.

Getting started with information security management – for everyone
The VDA-ISA questionnaire is industry-independent – it is aimed at everyone who is part of the automotive industry's value chain. These are manufacturers and suppliers of automotive parts, but also IT service providers, agencies and many more. Do you work for an automotive company and need to demonstrate VDA ISA compliance? verinice can help you.
The VDA standard is also interesting outside the automotive sector due to its broad orientation: it enables a guided self-assessment of the state of information security in your own company, independently of audits, and thus a low-threshold entry into IS management.
To perform an IS assessment with verinice, you need a verinice client or verinice.PRO. You can obtain this directly from the verinice.SHOP in the free EVAL version or the paid full version. Starting in Q2 2025, you will also be able to perform the self-assessment web-based in the next generation of verinice.
