The domains IT-Grundschutz and NIS2 are now expanding the web-based platform verinice.veo and making it a versatile solution for information security management systems (ISMS). The new verinice generation has reached another milestone after the data protection manager verinice DSMS premiered last year. Built on modern technology, verinice is designed to be future-proof and the sovereign tool for GRC and ISMS – the only one with BSI AND open source license.
The Bundle verinice Grundschutz and the Bundle verinice Datenschutz can be booked as SaaS with immediate effect. The NIS 2 domain is already included in both bundles, but can also be subscribed to independently. verinice.cloud is hosted by SerNet GmbH.

Information security in a bundle
The Bundle verinice Grundschutz contains all the tools needed to set up a complete ISMS based on BSI IT baseline protection. It supports the BSI standards 200-1, 200-2 and 200-3 and includes the IT-Grundschutz Compendium 2023, a comprehensive structure analysis and protection requirement determination, as well as a risk analysis. This enables users to meet the requirements for a BSI attestation or ISO 27001 certification based on IT-Grundschutz. A detailed demo profile also provides a practical introduction to using the tool. In addition to the IT-Grundschutz domain, the domains of data protection and NIS2 are also included in the verinice Grundschutz Bundle.
Data protection in a bundle
The verinice data protection bundle offers a complete data protection management system (DSMS) that supports compliance with the GDPR. It includes all important features, such as the directory of processing activities, data protection impact assessments (DPIA), technical and organizational measures (TOM), and the management of data protection incidents. Again, a detailed demo profile provides a quick and easy introduction. The verinice data protection bundle also includes the NIS2 domain.
Support for NIS-2 compliance
verinice NIS 2 provides a tool for managing the requirements of the NIS-2 directive for different setups. Developments around NIS 2 have already been taken into account: after the German implementation law NIS2UmsuCG comes into force, the deviations between the EU directive and the German law will be integrated into the tool and marked accordingly.
Both bundles and the NIS-2 implementation are designed to enable immediate implementation of the requirements. They not only include the use of the software, but also all other relevant content and regular updates to keep you up to date. Extensive demo profiles provide a detailed introduction to the design and possible uses of the tool and the respective domains.

The development of verinice.veo is progressing in big steps. The following is coming soon:
- ISO 27001 and TISAX: Support from March 2025
- verinice.onprem: Operation in own data center from March 2025
- Business continuity management: Implementation according to BSI 200-4 and ISO 22301 also in 2025
